British Army Band Day

On Wednesday 7th December 2022, 12 Students from Wavell took part in the British Army Band Day at Winston Churchill School.

The students spent the day rehearsing with professional Army Musicians, learning what life is like for musicians in the Armed Forces, and finishing the day with a performance. They worked with the Function Band as well as a Symphonic Wind Band and did so with great enthusiasm!
