Visits from the Local Mayor and MP

We were delighted this week to have both the Mayor of Rushmoor and Alex Baker MP visit our school. Both, spoke passionately about how important the voice of our young people are to them and that they are keen to hear from our students so that they have the opportunity to shape some of the more pressing issues in Rushmoor. We are excited to work more closely with the Mayor and Alex and utilise their offers of such opportunities for our students to take part in leadership and community-based activities.

Mrs Wright took this as an opportunity to share with Alex our concerns around funding, our catchment area and the numbers of school places available for families in our local area. We also discussed other exciting opportunities to develop our facilities further and feel positive that we will work in partnership together to benefit the lives of the families that we serve.
