Triumph for Ignis in this year's House Cross Country Run

With the start of the mock exam season in early November and the loss of our main PE teaching space, we welcomed back our annual House Cross Country Run for Years 7-10, more commonly known as the 'Polo Run'. Despite a slightly cold start to the week, the weather was on our side and enabled many of our students to produce some fantastic times throughout the week.

Winning times within each year group were as follows:

Year 7

Boys: Koen R - 9.15

Girls: Georgina O- 11.55

Year 8

Boys: Ashwin T– 9.17

Girls: Kelsey O – 9.30

Year 9

Boys: Thomas R – 8.31

Girls: Darcey L – 10.23

Year 10

Boys: Toby E – 8.23

Girls: Daisy S– 13.52

Special mentions need to go to Toby who was the fastest boy around the course and Kelsey who was the fastest girl. Well done to you both.

All students who participated, were rewarded housepoints based on their finishing times and the overall results saw Ignis crowned as champions this after.

Well done to all those who took part, we look forward to next years run already.
