The Steps Challenge

We were blown away, at a busy period of the year, with the enthusiasm students and staff showed with The Steps Challenge!

Every year, Aqua organise a sponsored swim for the British Heart Foundation, but for this year, due to Covid restrictions, this was unable to take place. To raise awareness, the Aqua Prefects and Head of House, challenged the school to walk the equivalent of 50 lengths of the Farnborough pool during the week beginning 22nd March 2021.

A special mention goes to Mr Denton, Miss Kinch, Miss Woodward, Mrs Gowers, Miss Young, Mrs Coombes and Mrs Seward who all earned House Points for their House!

Those who got involved walked an amazing 566,631 steps! That’s a staggering 13,086 lengths of the pool!
