Sports Day 2025: A Day of Triumph and Team Spirit
This year's Sports Day kicked off with a bit of uncertainty, as rain showers in the morning threatened to dampen the mood. However, just in time for the events, the sun finally broke through the clouds, casting a warm glow over the fields and lifting everyone's spirits. It turned into an unforgettable day filled with excitement, determination, and, of course, team spirit, as students and staff gathered to cheer on the athletes competing in various events, from track races to field challenges.
A massive congratulations to Mistral House, the overall winners of this year’s Sports Day! Their dedication, teamwork, and relentless energy were evident throughout the day, as they dominated multiple events and secured the top spot on the podium. The members of Mistral showed incredible perseverance, and this victory was a well-deserved reward for their hard work.
This year’s Sports Day also saw many students stepping up to take part in events at the last minute, filling in for teammates who were unable to compete due to illness or other circumstances. Their willingness to step out of their comfort zones and represent their house truly exemplifies the spirit of teamwork and resilience that makes our school community so special.
However, Sports Day wasn’t just about winning—there were several standout moments, and a few in particular will go down in history. A special mention goes to Koen R, whose extraordinary performance in the triple jump has set a new record. Another huge congratulations goes to Darcey L, who came within just one second of breaking the 300m record. Had she done so, it would have marked her third record in as many years.

It was a day full of excitement, pride, and community. From the fierce competition to the heartfelt cheers from the sidelines, we witnessed the true spirit of sportsmanship. Everyone, whether competing or supporting, played a vital role in making this event such a success.
We look forward to next year’s Sports Day and can’t wait to see even more incredible performances, rivalries, and, most importantly, the unbreakable bonds formed between students and their teams.
