Shakespeare Schools Festival 18-19


Two enjoyable performances of ‘12th Night’ (slightly more traditional in its presentation) and ‘The Tempest’  (seen from a slightly different perspective of the magical Island and Caliban), were well received by the respective audiences on the 31st of January 2019 and the snow delayed 7th February 2019.

    

The plays were designed for the 2018 Shakespeare Schools Festival.

‘The Tempest’ was performed at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell on 18th October 2018 and  ‘12th Night’ at The Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke on 5th November 2018. 

Since our 1st performances 6 years ago the Wavell Shakespeare Company of actors have had excellent reviews from audiences and from the Shakespeare Schools Festival directors who have also given consistent 5 star ratings. This year's reviews can be read below...
