Prize Giving 2026
On Thursday 9th July we held our annual Prize Giving to celebrate our students' successes. Our new top 4 prefects did a fantastic job as hosts for the evening along with some highly talented student musicians who entertained us. We were excited to welcome back former Wavell student Amber Weston to speak to us about her amazing journey from Wavell to the West End. Thank you for returning to inspire our current students with you story and to help present the prizes which are listed in the programme below.
It was a real privilege to celebrate so many students whose achievements reflect not only academic success, but also resilience, kindness, commitment, determination and a willingness to keep going when things are difficult.
At Wavell, our values of Respect, Aspiration, Commitment, Preparation and Accountability are not just words on a poster; they are qualities we see in our students every day. Prize Giving was a wonderful reminder of that.
