Life After Wavell
On 24th September 2025 we welcomed 14 local colleges and training providers into school to attend our “Life after Wavell” Event for our Year 11 students.
It was brilliant to see the engagement of our students with all of these providers and some of the questions they posed to them were excellent. We are proud to see that so many Year 11 students came away from today with a better understanding of the opportunities available to them and the requirements needed to reach their next steps beyond Wavell.
The students listened to some presentations then had the opportunity to speak to representatives from the Army, RAF, Pulse Training Academy, Complete Academy, SCL College, Farnborough Sixth Form, Farnborough College of Technology, Basingstoke College of Technology, Guildford County Sixth Form, Activate Learning (Merrist Wood, Guildford and Farnham), The Prospect Trust and All Hallows, Collingwood College Sixth Form and Godalming College.
A big thank you to all the attendees supporting us with this event. We will continue to share details of open days and application processes with students and parents.
