The Wavell School is delighted with its results this year which show an even bigger increase than that made nationally with a 9% improvement on last year’s great results. Wavell has achieved its best ever combined English and Maths results at 74%, individually with English at 85% and Maths at 78%.
The school is also especially pleased with its 81% students achieving 2 or more Science GCSEs. A wide range of subjects achieved 80% standard passes or better : Japanese (100%), Italian (100%), Religious Studies (88%), Dance (86%), Resistant Materials (86%), Photography (83%), Food Technology (83%). Special congratulations to 10 of our students who achieved a mixture of the very top grades (Grade 9s/A*s ): Adam Richardson , Johnathan Keenan , Thomas Ferguson , Heather Tomkins , Samuel Oldfield , Alfie Down , Megan Harrison , Ellen Andrews , Rosie Boddy and Eleanor Batty.
