Christmas Charity Run 2023

On a fresh December morning a herd of reindeer, an enchantment of elves and a sleigh of Santas congregated on the playground in readiness for the epic annual Phyllis Tuckwell Christmas Run.  After a quick warm-up and lively sing-song, they were off!

It was wonderful to bring the school community together to spread some Christmas joy whilst also making a positive impact on the lives of others. Well done to everyone who so enthusiastically took part, and thanks to the fund-raising staff from Phyllis Tuckwell who also came to support and cheer our walkers and runners on. 

We are delighted to tell you that the school raised a fantastic £4,367.40 in sponsorship! Thank you to all of our community who generously donated to the cause.

It is thanks to your support that we are able to continue our hospice care in the local community, looking after patients and their families free of charge when they need us most. As well as raising money, your support also means that children in our area will have an increased awareness of Phyllis Tuckwell and the role we serve in the local community.

On the same day, our Year 10 and 11 students also raised an amazing £273.30 for Save the Children with their Christmas Jumper Day.
