Camo Day 2018
On Monday 16th July the school took part in its bi-annual celebration of the Armed Forces by hosting CAMO Day.
Students across Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in a range activities during the day, which included Basher Building with Mr Bullion, an orienteering exercise and a speed typing contest.
At brunch we had a variety of stalls run by our House Prefects, all raising funds for Blind Veterans UK and Friends of the Earth charities.
This year we had the pleasure of Mr Eyles, a retired RAF engineer who spoke to the Year 7 students about celebrating 100 years of the Royal Air Force.
He then led the whole school in a minutes silence by playing the Last Post.
We had an amazing response to the stalls and have raised £729.94 for our chosen charities.
- Henry 10W won the Sweets in the jar
- Erin 7Y won the assault course
- 7X won the Basher building exercise with Mr Bullion
- Lily, Molly, Armita and Bethan (8Z/S) won the Victoria Cross Treasure Hunt
-
The winner of the red dragon was Molly in 8X with the name Eddie.
Thank you for all support.
