BAE Systems Challenge Day
On Friday 9th June 2023 twelve Year 10 Engineering Programable Systems students took part in the annual BAE Systems Interschool Challenge Day at the Farnborough International Conference Centre. Led by the BAE Systems Submarine Graduate and Apprenticeship Programme, the students where tasked in teams of 6 to design and create an amphibious vehicle. This included keeping within budget (of £15 million!), bartering for better deals at the shop, making and test driving a model and finally presenting their project to a panel of experts.

One of our teams won 'Best Presentation' despite their model not working, and all of our students showed excellent communication and practical skills.
