Armed Forces Day Art
We have recently been taking part in a large-scale Armed Forces Day Art project with our Key Stage 3 students. Children from 20 local schools have been creating work that will come together in a colourful large-scale installation exploring the different skills needed to make the army a success.
The students have been painting wooden discs with the face of a person to represent someone from the Army and the multiple sectors within the Army and we have then written our own thank you messages on the back.
We sent off over 600 wonderful discs which were displayed in The Bandstand in Princes Gardens, Aldershot as an art installation from Saturday 26th June 2021.
