Following the Government’s announcement regarding Indoor Sports Facilities, you will be pleased to know that we are looking to re-open some of our indoor facilities to the public on Monday 27^th July 2020

Although we await full guidance to be published, we are already planning to implement the following procedures in order to help protect both the safety of our staff and our customers:

The Covid-19 outbreak is being supported by NHS Test & Trace. You should assist this service by keeping a temporary record of your members and visitors for 21 days and assist NHS Test & Trace with requests for that data if needed. This could help contain clusters or outbreaks.
Due to the strict guidelines in place, some group exercise bookings may now need to be altered to allow time in-between each booking to clean and prepare for the next customer and to avoid congestion at changeover times.
Classes should be adapted to support Social Distancing and to avoid cross contamination.
Each club will need to provide a Risk Assessment to sit alongside ours.
Wavell Campus Leisure has a Social Distancing Programme in place.
During Phase 1. Changing rooms will currently remain closed, to control the spread of the virus and we would ask that your customers arrive and leave dressed in their training kit.
Sanitising Stations are strategically placed around the site to promote good hygiene and Personal Cleaning Stations will be made available for customers to use in some areas.
For Health & Safety reasons. Just like in all areas of society, customers will be asked to take a personal responsibility for safety and will be asked to clean equipment before and after use.
There are clear PHE/NHS signs on display around the site regarding hand and respiratory hygiene.
Enhanced cleaning regime of all facilities.
Some areas of our facilities may be repurposed to support social distancing, this may result in gym equipment being temporarily “taken out of use” or in some cases removed.
The Vending Machine will be kept Out of Service.
