Wavell Partnership
Links with KS1 & KS2 Schools The Wavell School works closely with local primary, infant and junior schools to ensure that the transfer of students from primary to secondary education is as smooth as possible. Before children join the school, most will have been taught by a number of The Wavell School staff on such liason programs as Spanish, Design Technology, Ethnic Minority Acheivement and PE. In addition, Wavell teachers meet with children and primary school teachers in their own environment. As well as regular meetings at headteacher level, staff of core subjects across infant, junior and secondary level meet regularly to ensure curriculum continuity and the smooth transfer of students from primary to secondary education. Information about National Curriculum levels, as well as other records of student performance, are passed on to ensure continuity. As a Technology College our primary partners are: Primary
