Pastoral Care

 

Student welfare is managed by the pastoral team led by the Deputy Headteacher responsible for Pastoral Welfare.

The team consists of 5 directors of students (with an assistant director providing support) and their tutors, as shown in the following diagram:

 

A deputy headteacher oversees 5 directors of students (with an assistant director providing support).  Each form also has a dedicated form tutor.

The team works in conjunction with the school's pastoral mentor who provides one to one individual support, anger management, and a range of social skill courses.  Further support is provided by a pastoral assistant, who also fulfils the role of school nurse. 

The pastoral team makes full use of the support of outside agencies where appropriate and these are :
